Feel Me Up Friday: The Spppoookkkkyyy Edition

So it's been a loooooooonnnggggg week. But one of the highlights was definitely seeing what's become of all the Rock of Love girls on VH1. That was an hour well spent. Well between that and convincing the offspring my actual name is not, in fact, Candace, but "Mother." Good times.

Random Fact: I once often left leave the house in my pajamas. With no makeup. I hear the screams of children nearby. Okay so that's not random, or news, but it is frightening.
Random Fact: I'm TERRI-EFFING-FIED of (not scary movies or spiders or anything normal) the toilet seat up. The sight of the---uggghhhh---rim. Okay, I can't even talk about it without cringing. I think I hear the creepy music...

That was extra spooky and I sort of liked it. But your hands smelled like...licorice. Weird. Anyway, Immmaaa keep this short because it's a holiday weekend (sort of). Be safe. Get some [candy] (not me). Scare some kids. The offspring says:
Tell me friends, what do you LOVE/HATE most about Halloween?

Have a great weekend! I love candy candy candy! Sadly there's no Halowe'en on this side of ocean, and reading all these Hallowe'en posts is making me feel so bereft. I'm just gonna buy some sweets and chow down on my own.

What a cute little offspring!!!!

I'm with you on the toilet seat (not literally...that would be weird) I'm just saying that the words alone made me cringe!

Love...hanging with my neighbor while the hubs travel the kiddos around the hood. We chat, see all sorts of cut costumes and basically veg. It's a tradition to hang out after and have a few totties ( hee... ), while the kids do a candy 'swap'. It's a riot.

I can't stand teens who want to be 'grown-up' but still fight a six year old at my door for the candy bowl. Grrr.....

I just love Oktoberfest beer. I wish I could have it all year round. But not really cause there is a good chance it's skunky leftovers on a shelf.

I hate that it's at this time of year. The kids have to wear coats 'cause it cold (we had a blizzard one year), so you don't see the costumes.

For some reason we don't get many trick or treater down our street. But that's okay. More candy for me!!!!!

Awww. The offspring is adorable. Not surprised she runs the show--who could refuse her anything?

I love everything about this holiday. Candy. The little ones dressed up in their costumes. Candy. The big ones (me and hubs) dressed up their costumes. Candy. All the houses decorated on my block. Candy.

Have a great weekend and take lots of pictures.

The offspring is darling. I love seeing all the kids dressed up, and stealing their candy right out from under their noses.

Love: Chocolate

Hate: Moms who think that kids actually like those mini-boxes of raisins.

Happy Halloween!

Just coming back from the week before halloween- I gotta say I love the decorated houses. I decorated mine as best I could and we have ahuge halloween party for the kids, our family and friends and I love how everyone really gets in the spirit even though halloween only arrived in france in the 90's.

I don't like it when the teenagers come to my house to trick or treat, wearing no costume and holding a plastic Walgreens bag. They're usually bigger than me and it freaks me out a little.
Hope you guys have a great Halloween!

I love the candy and costumes and decorations. I hate that only scary movies are on TV and in the theater. I don't read or watch horror! I'm a scaredy-cat!

Happy Halloween, Candyland!!!

Okay, I hate when husbands (like mine) put on ugly scary masks (like hairy monkeys) and try scaring their charming wives (like me) who scream at the top of their lungs (like me, again) because they (still me) are scared of stupid little things all the time.

Hello Candace! Thanks for dropping by my blog! I love sweets! I don't like horror films on the television on halloween, LOL.

Happy Halloween! :)

I love it when kids come to the door, especially the ones who so obviously built their own costume rather than bought it. I love creativity!

I hate the damage that sometimes occurs. I think that vandalism and graffitti gives all teens a bad name, and makes people treat all of them differently. I hate to see anyone feel bias, so this bugs me. 99% of teens are great kids!
