JOY IS...

People complain. A lot. Even me. In fact, I was talking to myself this morning about how that 2nd cup of coffee always blows and I said "Self, shut up and find some things that don't tick you off." So I decided to make a list of all things that make me warm and fuzzy. Well, not warm because I prefer to be cool. And not fuzzy because fuzzy is gross too. Okay, complaints. Stop. Now.

Joy Is...

-My morning coffee. In my one and only coffee cup. Because I broke the other one. Grr. NONONO. No complaining here, though,. At least I still have the one cup...

-Watching the offspring dance to THIS VIDEO (and M. Shadows without a shirt). Except we watch it all day every day and it's...nevermind. It's all good.

-Listening to THESE HOTTIES. No complaints here.

-The uncommon love note from the hubs. I wish I could have one ever day. But I can't. He doesn't...NONONO. I'll stop there.

-Comments on my blog posts! These always bring me joy. Except when it's SPAM. That's not a complaint, it's a fact.

-RAISING MONEY FOR A GOOD CAUSE.

-Sleeping in. If I ever could......................<---she says with a smile.

Okay, so maybe today wasn't the day to write about everything joyous. There's one thing that brings me an immense amount of happiness and that's getting emails re: donations to J2W. It's such a beautiful thing, and colors over all the complaining in my heart with nothing but love. So keep 'em coming.

Tell me friends, WHAT BRINGS YOU JOY?

When I arrive for a family function and all three of my neices and my nephew run to me screaming "Num Num's here" (they call me Num Num, long story). The throw their arms around me and knock me over.

I find joy in my morning coffee, my afternoon coffee and my night coffee too. Seriously, I love when the house is quiet and I know I have hours of uninterrupted time.

hi miss candace! wow joy is a cool word for sure. it starts big and gets more and more small. for me the big joy is just being alive and loving and being loved. after that there so much more little joys like my special friend candyland and giving for good causes and reading neat books and getting cool birthday presents and playing baseball and just lots more joy stuff. mostly joy is about love!
...big hugs from lenny

Music, laughing til I cry over dumb stuff, and my kids hugs give me joy.
Love that A7X video. M Shadows and Synyster are FIIIIINE! My son is wearing an Avenged Sevenfold shirt for the second day in a row to school today (he owns four but my rule is he has to wear a nice polo or button down shirt to school twice a month and no more than three rock shirts a week :) I have no limit to how many days I can wear mine a week tho. ;)

Joy is...getting up extra early for a few hours of uninterrupted writing time while the rest of the house is still asleep - that's the best!

It's so hard to be positive when you're having a sucky day. So good job. I also needed to do this today.
Joy is...

Pretending with my three year old (even though I had to "swim" through my house all day yesterday (-:)
Sleeping in on a rainy day
Teaching a lesson in a classroom that goes really well and the kids love me.
Shopping with my daughter and everything I try on looks good.
Meeting new people I really click with and want to be friends with
Learning something new.
Hey, I just realized my list could be really long. Maybe I should blog my list too. :-)

Good post.

I have loads of joy sources:
- Being with a man who I love more now than I did 5 years ago
- working in my jammies
- loving what I do
- having the ability to write
- my parents
- my friends <3
- my cats

Yeah, I could go on and on. =)
