Of course there's no way to really see what it says, unless you click on it to read. Go ahead, I'll wait...
Are you done? So, um, can I get a HELLZ YEAH?! Taylor and I have been emailing back and forth over the past couple of weeks regarding promoting the band and in response to a 3-separate email list of ideas (crazy long emails) I'd sent, she proposed this to me. And of course, I could never say no to anything @NewMedicine needs. So from now on, you can refer to me as PFRFCNMFLCL. (photofinishrecordsfancorpsnewmedicineforumleadercandyland)
That should be easy remember.
Also, if you should want to join the forum, use THIS LINK, sign up, come find me and be awesome.
Moving on to the random, the night before last, I pulled a scorching hot brownie pan from the oven with my bare hands. Then the offspring pretended she burnt her hand too and we both wore Bandaids the rest of the night. Also, after reading Tawna's lost ring story (be prepared to pee
And of course, I've misplaced things (though never in my underwear, Tawna...) that have ended up in weirdo places. Mainly my mind, which I often find sitting comfortably in the corner of the room with a "do not disturb" sign hanging from its neck. Go figure.
So how about you? Wheres the weirdest place you've found something you'd lost?
-PFRFCNMFLCL. OUT.

I love your post title's they are what gets me over here and already chuckling!
Yay for the new forum leader, that's kick ass... we all know you're going to rock it (stupid overachiever, making us all look bad!)
Hmm I've found things in my fridge that weren't supposed to be there and I've been known to throw towels in the garbage before.
Good luck with the forum. Sounds great.
Hot pans from oven need a mitt first, my dear. I've done that before, got to busy and pulled a cookie sheet from the hot oven. Burns suck. You all right?
haha. What an awesome 'occupation' :o)
Weirdest place? My hand. Yeah, I know. I know. I was looking for my mobile phone. I even looked in my mobile phone's phonebook, to find my mobile phone number, to call it on the landline. And ME, STILL didn't realise I was holding it until it started to ring. Twas a bad day ...
Are you a writer? Then you MUST enter this CONTEST!
I am uber normal so I have never, and I mean never found anything in the freezer that was not supposed to be there. Nor have I found things in my purse that run on batteries and are better left to bam bam drawer. Just saying.
hi miss candace! wow you sure love new medicine. i could feel how happy its making you and that makes me happy for you. maybe some day you could be a part of the band playin your guitar. wow that would be soooo cool. my pet raccoon one time took the car keys and hid them under the bed. we didnt find them for a long time. wowee alex was soooo mad. ha ha.
...hugs from lenny
How cool - enjoy your new task on the forums!
I used to hide things for safekeeping. Unfortunately, I always forgot where I put them. Needless to say, I don't do that anymore.
The forum is right up your alley, girl. Woot!
Great misplaced stories... The worst case of that for me was when I was looking for a pair of underwear I thought I'd lost until walking at a fairgrounds. I kicked a stone or something and from my pant leg, out popped the (thong) underwear. First date, and my guy says: Wow. That's impressive.
lol, too funny. I have what I call a 'black hole'. I'll remember picking something to place it elsewhere but when I try and wrack my brain as to WHERE I put it, I get 'the black hole'. Congrats on the new moderator position! Awesome!
Hey, have fun with the forum! You can't call it "taking on too much" when it's something you enjoy and you're good at!
I've never lost anything in my underpants, but I do have a VORTEX OF DOOM CABINET.
That might make a good, short blog post if I get desperate for material once the school year starts up ...
I'm always finding things in places they shouldn't be...(a hazzard of being blonde). I just found a bottle of opened salad dressing in the spice cupboard. UGH, I do hate wasting money!
I'm not going to be going there. I have some stories but they're totally inappropriate for something as respectable as the internet.
Also, I KNEW this was a Tawna reference! Man that story of hers was funny. Strange, but funny.
Congrats on the forum! That sounds like a way cool opportunity!
Cracking up about the hot dogs. My husband loves putting the milk in the cupboard (instead of the fridge, where he intends to put it). I make him drink it anyway, even when we don't discover it until a day later.
Thanks for the blog love, BTW!
Tawna
so funny! and congrats!
i do the misplacing thing more often at work than at home... especially with the silverware (i'm a glorified dishwasher)! the silverware's always going in the trash or the bleach water or slipping down the garbage disposal. silly things just won't go in the dawn water where they're supposed to go!
Good luck with the forum. Sounds awesome :)
I misplace stuff all the time. I once put some mayo away that I'd just got out to use...then spent ten minutes trying to find it on the side before I realised.:)
Wow!! New Medicine is lucky to have you. You go girl!!
On the flipside you are too funny calling your kids, offspring and finding your mind in a corner...LOL!!
I don't think I lose too much but I'm just soo ditzy that I seem to forget that I lost something...kind of an out of sight out of mind thing.
This past Christmas though I lost a whole container of homemade cookies but found the chewed up empty tin hidden under my Christmas tree when I took it down...Sneaky dogs!
you are more and more awesome every damn day.
you are more and more awesome every single day.
That hot dog thing is awesome! I think the worst thing I lost was a big bag of chicken. I left it outside. It was too gross to rescue after I found it. Yuck.
The title of your post made me do a double take. It all makes sense NOW, of course but before I thought maybe you might have gone over the edge.
Congrats on your new role as PFRFCNMFLCL!
HA! EW!
I found a missing DVD inside of the frame of the couch. Not as weird but still I had to rip that gauzey stuff to get at it.
The hot dogs in the cabinet made me laugh. I've put half-empty jars of spaghetti sauce back in the pantry instead of the fridge. I love something everyday, and I never find them in wierd places...usually just the normal places I've already searched one million times. (And you ask why I write paranormal?) My lost item today? My debit card. It's probably in my wallet.
I meant to write I LOSE something everyday. But don't worry, I also LOVE something everyday, too. But just one thing.
Oh, hope your hands are OK! Ouch.
I usually find lost things in the fridge. Says a lot about my mental state and food cravings!
I'm sure you will be an awesome forum leader!
My son is now a New Medicine fan. He loves the song Laid. But that's the only one I'll let him listen to since there are swear words in the other two I bought.
Do you think the bands will sing clean versions of the songs at the concert on Saturday so I won't be cringing at every fbomb with my son? ;)
