Beta readers are cool. I'm pretty fortunate I have a sixteen-year-old son who has lots of 'girlfriends'. A have a group of them who've read my ms and a few of their teachers. You could always solicit in front of a HS, although I wouldn't recommend it. :)
HA! Probably not a good idea to walk around a h.school asking teens to read my crap. I used teens over on Inkpop for feedback which was awesome. But now, I need an overall, editorial view and not just voice, which is mainly what they liked/disliked.
Good Betas are hard to come by.
Depending on what type of beta you need, I'd be willing to help. I'm not a line editer, more of an overall picture type of person. Let me know.
