I'll never leave you at a gas station

*CONTINUED FROM YESTERDAY'S POST*

So the phone call...it was obvs Brady. I tried not to pee but only mostly succeeded. The hubs and I piled into the car and headed to the venue, where everything was wide open, outside. We parked next to some huge ass tour buses and only after holding my breath through a horrid port-a-potty-emergency-pee-fest, we stood in a line of people that led into the main "gate." And then my phone rang again. It was Brady (again). I tried not to pee. Again.

"Where are you?" he asked, walking closer.

"I see you!" I said, running towards him. Que the violins. HUGHUGHUG (drooldrooldrool). He pulled us from the line of curious faces.

"Follow me," he said. Anytime he asks me to follow him, uuuhhhh I'm so there...all the way to the New Medicine/Hail the Villain tour bus. And I KNOW I peed then. Let me first say, I've had this dream about a million times and never in my wildest did I ever think it would happen...with my husband at my side. Just kidding dear. I love you. But I'm not kidding. Oh wait, I am. No, that's not right...AWKWARD.

Anywho.

The small talk isn't important [to you] but it was pretty much everything to me. So much, I've written a little thank you note.

Dear future Mr. Candyland #2 Brady,
Thank you for not calling the cops being so completely awesome. You pretty much rule. If I were a bus driver, I'd never EVER leave you at a gas station (side note: Dan, the guitarist, was actually left at a gas station).

Thankyouthankyouthankyou for taking my bribe to say Candyland was your favorite blogger everything. Until the next show (oh and I have a SPECIAL SURPRISE for the next local show. Mwuahahahaha.).
xoxo
~CLand

And because there's no simple way to explain what was one of the best days in Candyland [EVER], I'll [attempt to] go out in style and leave you with a picture montage.
So, friends...let me ask you...if you were invited to hang on your favorite band's tour bus, who would it be? Would you pee too?
(100% Brady Approved) Candyland. OUT.

Pulling you out of the line must have been cool but even better: the curious faces of others. Did you gloat? lol

Being a music freak, there are way too many bands I just love. I do have to say, after my Bon Jovi experience this summer, I don't think I need to be invited to hang with the band to almost pee. hee....

BTW...I think that's a catdog.

You rock. I have too many bands I want to hang out with. Silversun Pickups probably because they rock my socks off.

I might not pee. But def be jumping up and down with my legs crossed. (open if I were single. Did I just write that?) Anyway- awesome picks! Did you steal their cat (racoon, fox, panther) cookie cutter?

Great photos! I love Brady's pic on his laminate. And I am so darn excited for you!
Hmmm, I can't pick just one band...I love so many. Maybe Foo Fighters because I think Dave Grohl is funny. Or Avenged Sevenfold because they are cute, Syn's an awesome guitarist and I'd bring my son and be the coolest mom ever. Or Papa Roach, because they are awesome. Or MCR. I can't choose!!! :)

What a fabulous story! If I were your hubby, I *might* start to get a little jealous :-P

Tour bus...wow. So many. Aerosmith. Motley Crue back when Tommy was hot (because he's kind of gone down hill). If it was old MC, yep, I'd pee.

So, how DOES the current Mr. Candyland really feel about your not-so-secret passion for Brady? ;)

For me...I want to party on Candyland's tour bus when she takes her blog on the road. No, not buying it? Me either, but I thought I would try.

I don't know if I would want to meet any of the bands I idolized. Because when they become something more than the idea of who and what I think they are they lose some of the sparkle.

Did that even make sense. No? Well I am sure you get what I am saying right? If not, fake it.

How wonderful for you!
I got to hang out with Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October after his concert once.
I think if I could pick...it might be the dudes from 30 seconds to Mars or Breaking Benjamin... because Sinatra is dead. (=

I would totally pee. All over the bus and on my shoes. It would be awesome! Although, I'd probably be so freaked out, I wouldn't speak, so that might be a problem. Congrats! Awesome pics.

OMG! That has to be one of the coolest stories EV-AH! He called your phone?!! Whoa! Candace!!! I would have puddled at his feet when he pulled me from the line in front of everyone (if, ya know, I had any idea who New Medicine is...don't hate me, Candy!)

I think I would LOVE to do the tour bus thing with Rascal Flats or Chris Tomlin. *sigh*

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!

I can't say I've had any desire to go on a tour bus with a band... I'm not really sure I have a favorite of anyone... however that could always change!!!

'Ode to Matt Brady... Awesome Mr. Candyland #2

Mr. Candyland #1 deserves some love too!!

OMG, that is unbelievable, you must have felt like some kind of super-hero of sorts!! I think I would like it if Paul McCartney pulled me out, then he would have to fall in love with me and then marry me! lol
Have a good day!

I can't believe you got on the bus! That's fantastic!

God, if my favourite band asked me onto their tour bus I'd probably scream and run away! I'd be way too shy and starstruck!
