I'm the wind beneath your freakin' wings

In case you haven't noticed, there is a HUGE difference between men and women. I mean, aside from the obvious, (I'm not about to stick my size 7 foot in my mouth here), there's the un-obvious or the anti-obvs, or you may call it "Nobs." These are things like opinions on neutral subjects (cheese, water temperature, toilets) feelings (since men don't usually have them), and sometimes even social media (things of the PG nature).

Like TV.

Sure, the hubs may have thought we settled down to watch The X-Life (on VH1) for fun. You know, to un-wind or "relax." INSERT LAUGHTER. He was wrong. I can find hidden codes (while doing my nails, thank you), answers for my revisions, our next child's name, a new story idea, my next husband, and the meaning to freakin' life on just about anything. And this is what happened Sunday. I realized, through really romantic BMX dude, what I want out of life.

Okay, back the truck up, Candyland you say. How can I find all that in one really bad reality show? Well first of all, it's better than Jersey Shore so right there my chances go up. Second, I think often times, it's about what's NOT being said, or what's NOT happening that is the true sign.

I also think my cold medicines are colliding and my brain is full of shizz. It's also possible this entire post is YOUR meaning to life. You just have to look really hard and the answers are there. Seriously. The answers are everywhere, if you want them to be.

Aaaannnndddd you're welcome.

Tell me friends, what was the last show you watched? Did it give you any answers you're looking for?
Candyland. OUT.
P.S. Tune in tomorrow for a special Thursday Feel Up with some more answers to your burning questions...

The last show I watched was Criminal Minds. I did in fact discover the meaning of life or how to become a successful serial killer...you decide.

LOST! Yep, made me believe even more that we live parallel lives in alternate universes ;o)

The Big Bang Theory. It didn't give me the answers to my life, but it did make me crack up. What more could I want? :D

last show i watched was *eeks! embarrassment extreme!* the secret life of the american teenager- adn you know what! there was a great message. they said something like: happiness is a decision. you can't control what happens around you, but you can control how you respond to everything. you can find the good, and you can find the happiness. :)

You are always an inspiration, even on cold meds. Or maybe especially on cold meds.

BTW, if your cold medicine stops working, maybe it's time for some NEW MEDICINE. ;)

Umm. Yeah. Thank you for that.

All I have is a joke I shared with Leigh last night, since she and her friends can't stop talking about Barbie on my damn bookface:

Why did Ken and Barbie never have any kids? Because Ken came in a different box.

If you don't get it, ask Erik to explain.

K, hardly watch TV but I am a Vampire Diaries fanatic. (Shh....)

Oh, and I watched the most ridiculous reality thang the other day: "You're Cut Off" about rich 20-something girls who are spoiled rotten. Man are they stupid.

Haha well...

I once stared at a McD's advert and solved the time-space continuum...

And saw a KFC advert immediately afterward that made me forget everything just found out.

Sigh...

I could have made a lot of money. *cries*

Last night I had a guilty pleasure/ teen show marathon all by myself. Yes, I'm talking CW and abc family streaming. It didn't really help me figure out what I want from life but I did find myself fantasizing about buying a farm, growing my own wheat and potatoes, drying beans and canning jams and tomato sauces, milking cows, raising chickens and aging my own cheese. Satisfying? Probably. Will I ever do any of that? Probably not. But it feels good to dream.

I watched....ahem...Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium.
I actually used one of the lines from the movie as my status on Facebook one day because it hit me that hard.
Which also set off a spiral of crap in which I found inspiration in the dumbest things like clocks and pens and blankets. Yes. This happened.

TV always give me the answers I'm looking for. Especially Kirsty and Phil, on Location Location Location. I swear those two hold the answers to the universe in their plump little property-loving hands.

I hope you feel better soon! Being sick sucks! The last show I watched was FRINGE. While it may not have given me any big answers to life's questions it did inspire a story...

I think we should get together with your cold medicine and my size 12 feet, and then we'll watch some "Being Human" and discover the meaning of life while staring at a sexual male vampire that is NOT named Edward.

Aw, I hope you feel better!

The secret message was just plain awesome. I feel invincible now!

I'll have you know that I do have feelings, being a guy and all. It's just that they're locked in one speed and volume!!

I think I'm the only one in the world who hasn't even seen Jersey Shore! I am so out of what TV shows are hot right now.

Colene Murphy said...

HA! Love little code messages. Awesome. And Jersey Shore makes me want to kick myself in the tits. I haven't actually seen it but that is just how badly I never do. I hold you to much higher reality tv standards ;) Going to go look up what X-Life is!

Better than Jersey Shore? How is that--Cabs are here!

I hope your cold dies a thousand deaths. xoxo

Castle. I didn't get a thing out of it. Not even the mysteries of life. But I did get to relax with a glass of hot chocolate (sneaking it in because of the diet thing).

Hope your cold goes away soon. <3

I watched American Idol last night...I learned that I'm not the only person who is vocally challenged. :)

Feel better soon!
