If CHEWING is like WINNING then I'm...confused

Welcome new friends! It's my first day back after a ONE MONTH hiatus and let me tell ya...I'm ready for more time off I missed you. To be honest, the time went faster than Charlie Sheen's virginity and now I'm all disoriented. Speaking of...
That's right. He's even gotten to the hand soap companies. WTH? I've got to go into (writerly) celebrity d-bagness because that's where it's at. I just need a drug habit, some loose men (or women) (or trolls) I shall call my muses and a sparkly catch phrase. Something like #WAITING or #IMPATIENT or #BREAKDANCING or #CHEWING. Hmm...those don't have the same ring to them.

In the meantime, a little re-cap of what's shakin' with Candyland's baby/writing/etc. bacon:
-I'm in the exact same spot via revisions. Well, almost. I have 3 versions of the same story I'm revising simultaneously because I'm indecisive. And while I wait on Liz's thoughts, I'm stuuuuck.

-After a whole month of doing almost nothing, the doctor said our HEALTHY baby (what else would it be) should be due around 10-29. We saw the little rock star swinging punches which made me all kinds of relieved, the hubs all kinds of excited and the offspring all kinds of hungry for McDonalds. Go figure.

-Tomorrow starts the A to Z Blogging Challenge and with over 800 participants, I'm having a mini-stroke. My posts for the month of April, starting tomorrow, will be short + ridiculous but you'll have me 6 days/week. You can still sign up through Sunday via the badge on my sidebar. After that, uhh, I'm not sure what happens. You fall into a dark hole, maybe.

Well friends, I have to say, this was surprisingly pleasant. I thought all this time apart, feelings would change and maybe you'd find someone new. Maybe you have. Maybe I'm the mistress now. Maybe I have no idea what I'm saying and neither do you. *waves hands around to distract you*

Tell me friends, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE THIS MONTH?

Yay for being back! Excellent news about the babe.

Me? Trying desperately to blog more than once a week and failing miserably, lol. I don't know how you A to Zers do it, but I'll be rooting you on!

Great to have you back!

*Smacks head* I'm so out of the freaking loop I did not realize you'd been absent for a month (explains why I haven't seen you around).

Nor had I heard about the bebe. Congrats!! Glad to hear everyone is healthy and doing well. :D

WElcome back! Congrats on the good news. How appropriate that Candyland Offspring shall debut at the biggest candy holiday of the year - Halloween!?

I was thinking about you yesterday and I'm so glad you decided to bee-bop in and give us an update. Stay healthy and I wish you the best.

I'm both happy and excited to be back from a turmoil filled hiatus.

the other night i had a dream and you were in it. We were going to the avenged sevenfold concert where New Medicine opened, but then some other band opened so everyone was pissed. We were forced to wait around while the concert organizers tried to figure out what went wrong, and finally, at 8am they just cancelled the concert and everyone had to go home.
There were other things that went on (like a guy namesd Jeff Vunderpoint (i googled him. He's not a real person)) but that was the gist

So glad you're back!! I didn't realize it had been a month already. I just thought of you the other day, wondering when exactly you would return! SO yeay! Good luck on the challenge next month!

Glad to see you back on the blog. Hope you're rested up for April and short ridiculous posts sounds like a good plan to me.
If you wait a couple days on the projected birth date you'll have a Halloween baby.

Thanks for stopping by. My posts are usually ridiculous too...sadly they are not short. I'm working on it though. I just stumbled across the A-Z today so I'm behind in planning posts. My blog is a lot of random normally anyway so I think I'll be okay.

Been way busy. Threw a massive party for my neice who turned 20. Wrote a short story, started another novel, edited some of my first one, working on the writing conference for teens (Teen Author Boot Camp) that my wrting group is putting on at the end of the month--yeah--we're flying out Kiersten White for it... and Elana Johnson is attending and a bunch of other cool authors...we are all a bit frantic putting it all together. Yeah--that's my month.

Doing the A-Z thing too. Cool.

Yay, welcome back Candace! We missed you! But dude, you came back just in time for me to go on my month long break! Pooper scooper! Glad to hear the baby is jumpin' :) I'll be lurking all month around the blogs- can't wait to see what people have in store for the a-z challenge!

Hi, thanks for stopping by at The Farm. I didn't want to join the challenge at first (too busy picking durians), but the hosts are just awesome aren't they?

Look forward to your 'A'

Btw I've always thought mistress is only an Asian thingy

Missed you! I noticed the 'swinging punches' thing on the pics- what a cool thing. Tough, a real fighter like Mama! :~)

I didn't sign up for A-Z and now seeing 800 participants...holy crow I'm glad I didn't. My eyes couldn't handle a 10th that number.

Maybe I'll do Z-A just to be ornery :~) Or maybe it's just the remnant of the fever talking.

(no need to send a reply to this btw- rest!)

xoxo
