Post MDay hangover of the emotional kind

So, yesterday was the the big M-Day. It was pretty much perfect (except when the hubs disappeared for an hour- when I was supposed to be enjoying my time-so he "and the offspring" could wax the vehicle; she was not interested). But I digress. Aside from that, I got the best presents in the last few days:

How about you? Did you celebrate a special Mother in your life? Did you eat delicious food like a GiGi's cupcake? Mmm...cupcake...

Candyland. OUT.

You got the hand!! I love that age. I'm kind of goofy...I actually framed my kids' imprinted hands with that poem. :)

We spent yesterday simply hanging out. It was really nice. :)

That is one really clear shot of your baby! Wow! I hope you did in fact have a great day. I didn't do anything as I am not yet a mother, and my mother didn't even realise it was her day! LOL

I LOVE the hand made gifts kids give. My oldest posted "I love you" on facebook -- yes, where all her friends could see! The middle child wrote a half a page of reasons why she loves me and the youngest (who HATES doing anything with a pen or crayon) made me a card. Happy Happy day.

PS
Sooo jealous you got the 3D ultrasound, I always wanted one but didn't get one. The pictures are astounding!

That is crazy, I remember making the hand, but we won't discuss when. Looks like you had an awesome one.

I was out of town for Mom's day. But I had a great time meeting all my sister's friends.

Love the gifts! Did you go for a 3d ultrasound? My sister is driving an hour away next week or so for one.

No, but I sent my mom a gift card so she can download books to her eReader.

Wow! That is an amazing picture of the baby! Wow again! My ultrasounds looked like blobs, although we *could* make out a profile in one of them. Technology sure has changed in the last 10 years.
