Taco Time is the best time

Dear friends,

Mondays are not my favorite day for a number of reasons.
1. The weekend is gone.
2. Five working days until the next weekend.
3. I'm mourning the aftereffect of Friday's show.
4. I desperately want a Keurig because my coffee maker makes crap coffee + I'm sleepy.
5. The word MONDAY makes me cringe. It even has the sound UHHH in it.
6. I have to wash my hair.
7. WORK.
8. It's the day my cat is voted most likely to spew. Seriously.
9. I think eight reasons is good but my OCD said create nine.

But, there's always a silver lining. Mine comes in the form of a slender, bass-playing, taco-eating, Ghana-traveling, John Irving loving machine.
Oh and did I mention he gives good hugs? :) And he has mad drawing skilllzzz, too...
So tell me friends, what do you think of MUUUHHHndays?

I can tell you this: My opinion of Muuhhndays would VASTLY improve if they arrived alongside a 'slender, bass-playing, taco-eating, Ghana-traveling, John Irving loving machine' such as you listed... otherwise I'm sticking with 'ugh' as my official opinion...

MUUUHHHndays pretty much suck.

But then I come here, and they get better. :)

I think, "What the hell happened to my weekend?"

That's an awesome taco. I'd eat it.

I'm with Linda. She's funny! I can't seem to get out of my own way on Muuuuunnnddd....can't finish. See??

Yep, Muuuhhhndays suck. No way around it. (Unless Monday is your day off.) It's back to the soul sucking job.

I love Mondays. My kids are back at school and I can do some serious writing.

Okay, serious writing if my ADHD self doesn't get distracted. ;)

Mondays are so suckish. But I just try to look at them like the beginning that they are and then they get better.

TACOS=AWESOMELY, SCRUMPTIOUS ANYTIME DAY OR NIGHT ENERGY FOOD. Should be on the food pyramid. Uh-huh :)

Personally, I despise Mondays unless they happen to fall on a national holiday.

and don't even get me started on Tuesdays. Those jerks aren't much better!

Uh-oh. Sounds like somebody's got a case of the Mondays.

It's not my favorite day but since they come along every week, I've learned to adapt ;)

Wait. John Irving like The World According to Garp John Irving? That's an interesting author for a rockin young man to read. I think BR80 just got a little cooler (as if that's possible).

Glad you had a great time Friday night at the show!!
I'm disappointed we didn't go Saturday, but heard later the roads were indeed horrible so good I didn't risk my boy for some rock n roll! :)

I'm with ya. Mondays are the suck.

Glad you had a good time Friday night. You deserve a little R&R. =)

Mondays are sooo hectic here. They keep showing up and I keep forgetting to prepare. I need to practice the be prepared not scared mantra.

I don't have a normal week, so Wednesday is my Monday. This day is usually a quiet one for me, unless it becomes my crazy errand day. It all depends on my mood...:)

i work most weekends so mondays are usually a day off... not so bad. :)
but there is always extra struggle getting the kids into gear for school on mondays after their weekend of chill. :)

i don't like mexican food at all. And yet, i'm so hungry even that drawing of the taco is setting my stomach rumbling.
I need to scrounge up some food apparently

I actually like Mondays. For some reason, it's like a refresh button. I can stop spending all weekend regretting all the time I wasted staring at the screen all week. Monday means I can start again and maybe be productive!

Awesome pictures Candace! Looks like you had a blast!

I used to hate Monday, but we're good now. As long as it gives me time to write.

Jen said...

I'm with you, Monday's are ROUGH!! But then again, it is one day closer to Friday ;-)

Patti said...

I hate them, mostly because of the "W" word.

Talli Roland said...

Funnily enough, I don't mind Mondays NOW. I hated them when I had to get up at freakin' six and take the crowded sweaty Tube to work!

At least during the week, I am more likely to find time to write. When hubby's around, writing time just doesn't happen.

Colene Murphy said...

Hahaha! I had to say "Monday" just so I could hear the "Uhhh" in it! Awesome. It totally is there.

I'm glad someone else said something about those Kuerig things. Hubs says its a waste of money but the commercials just make them look so badass! I don't even drink coffee and I totally want one!

Because I hate Mondays, they are silent reading days for my students. That way I have all day to mope--I mean plan--or write or read with them or whatever. It it helps a bit with the blah.

muuuuhhndays. Yeah, no fun. Mondays always seems to be when my daughter get's sick too. She couldn't be sick all weekend while I was home with her- no, she had to start throwing up last night so she would stay home from school, and hubs and I had to scramble around with our work schedules to figure it out. Sigh...yeah muuuhndays suck.

Tacos. I'm thinking La Bamba. Burrito the size of your head.

My cat has not spewed yet, but it's 40 degrees here. Her spew days are coming in about two months.

Now go wash your hair... ;p

That's too bad about number eight.

Also, Brady's hat is adorable.
